... Adrian Gonzalez is just .20 batting average points away from leading the majors in the Triple Crown on the road. He's tied with Florida's Dan Uggla
for the HR lead with 12, he leads in RBI (31), and he's sixth in batting (.324 BA), behind leader Lance Berkman, who's batting .344 on the road.

... since May 21st, Jody Gerut is batting .330 with 10 multi-hit games and 16 runs scored.

... reliever Cla Meredith has given up a run in 9 of his last 16 appearances. His ERA has risen from 2.91 to 4.58.

... if you take away two disastrous outings for Trevor Hoffman, he is 1-2 with a 1.87 ERA, 15 saves, 4 walks, and 28 strikeouts in 24 innings pitched.

... Khalil Greene has 21 hits in his last 65 at bats (.323 BA) to raise his average from .207 to .234. It's about time.

... Jake Peavy is giving up a homer every 7.63 innings, his worst rate since he gave up a homer every 5.9 innings in 2003. Last season, he gave up a
homer every 17.18 innings.
